This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

When you enquire we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your situation. If you become a client and use the portal, we also hold the identity, education, employment and financial documents you upload.

Why we hold it

To assess your eligibility, prepare and submit applications on your instruction, and to contact you about your case. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone except the authority your application is being made to, and only with your instruction.

How your documents are stored

Uploaded documents are stored outside the public website. There is no web address that reaches them. They can only be opened by you and by the consultant working on your case, and every access is recorded with a timestamp. You can ask us for that record.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to erase it. Write to info@abhigyanconsultancy.com and we will action it. Where we are required to retain records relating to a submitted application, we will tell you which records and for how long.

Retention

Documents are deleted once they are no longer needed for your application and any period we are legally required to keep them has passed. You can delete anything you uploaded yourself at any time from the portal.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to anonymise IP addresses. We do not run advertising trackers.
